In order to provide you with the best possible experience, we strive for transparency and affordability in our billing practices. We operate on a pay what you are able, minimum fee model in order to provide services to the widest range of individuals. This means we provide our services at cost, and any additional fees collected are reinvested into the practice in order to expand services for the wider community.
You can expect to pay $70 for your first session and $35 for individual sessions.
If you would like to help grow the practice in our community, you can opt in to a sliding scale income based fee (see below).
Insurance Information
I am an out-of-network provider.
Quite often therapy sessions are covered in part by your insurance provider.
Please contact your insurance company about your mental health coverage with an out-of-network provider to see if your insurance will reimburse for your sessions.
I provide superbills which can be used to receive insurance reimbursement based on your policy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Michigan, so check with your insurance provider prior to starting services to see if they cover mental health services provided by an out of network LPC (see the bio page for my licensure details).

If you are an essential worker we offer a 25% discount off of your individual session fee. If your income is at or below $25,000 per year you are eligible for a minimum of 4 free sessions.
Session Fees
We operate on a "pay what you are able" fee structure, with a minimum fee of $35 per session (this is based on minimum operating costs).
Your first appointment will be $70
This is a 90 minute, intake including diagnosis, goal planning and associated assessment.
If you choose to pay the minimum, our per session fee is:
$35.00 for an individual, 45 minute session.
If you are able, we encourage you to pay for sessions based on our income based sliding scale, as it helps to grow the practice and provide
community based free workshops.
Sliding Scale
Following an intake session, you can choose to pay based based on you income. Our income adjusted fees are broken into three tiers:
Tier 1 = $35.00 for a 45 minute session, $40 for a 60 minute session.
Tier 2 = $70.00 for a 45 minute session, $80 for a 60 minute session.
Tier 3 = $105.00 for a 45 minute session, $120 for a 60 minute session.
